Aschoff's Rule

Every chronobiologist knows Aschoff’s Rule. Aschoff’s grotty old ink-bespattered nicked ruler, no doubt used over decades to estimate tau, was „borrowed“ by Till Roenneberg and mounted grandly on bronze and turned into a very special prize for chronobiologists. The inauguration took place on a table in the Cloister Irsee, on the occasion of the Gordon Conference on Chronobiology in 1991. Till explains The Rules.
